ESD Polymers is an acronym for ElectroStatic Dissipation. Many times "ESD" is not used correctly as a term for something that is "electrostatic discharge safe". The terms Anti-Static, Conductive, and Dissipative are all terms in which ESD is divided into more detail. resistance. Surface resistance is defined as the measurement of how easily an electric charge can travel across a medium. Please note that just because a polymer is insulative, it does not mean it is "ESD Safe".
